FISCHER TECHNICAL SERVICES

BILLING RATES - Effective January 1, 2023

Services are billed in increments of 1/2 hour plus expenses at the rates shown below.  We do not work on contingency, and we may require a deposit on account or retainer prior to starting work.

Principal Consultant:    Robert L. Fischer

For scheduled work in Huntington, WV office and nearby vicinity:

· Weekdays 7 AM – 6 PM -------------------------------------------- US$200/hr

· Saturdays ------------------------------------------------------------ US$300/hr

· Sundays -------------------------------------------------------------- US$350/hr

· For scheduled work while traveling outside of Huntington area:  US$1,600.00 per 8 hour day Mon thru Fri and US$2,400 Saturdays & Sundays. (1/2-day minimum billing) 

 For Huntington area unscheduled callouts: ------------------------------ US$250/hr (4 hour minimum billing)

Sub-Consultants and Associates:

Sub-consultants and associates may be used on a particular project to provide supplemental expertise. Sub-consultants and associates will be billed at invoice cost plus 15%.

 

Direct Expenses:

Direct expenses are any costs incurred by Fischer Technical Services directly attributable to a project.  Direct expenses include toll telephone, production and printing costs, travel, lodging and meals, rented vehicles, rented test equipment, and materials, supplies and services directly assigned to a project. Direct expenses will be billed at invoice cost plus 15%.  Generally, meals are billed at $38/day.

 

Company Owned Vehicles:

Company vehicle mileage will be billed at US$0.80 per mile when vehicle is used directly on a project.

 

Material Purchases:

Material purchased for construction and incidental parts and supplies will be billed at invoice cost plus 15%.

 

Invoices:

Consulting services are invoiced every 30 days or upon the completion of a project. All invoices are due and payable within 30 days of issue.

 

Terms of Liability:

Consultations are generally provided to Client Companies’ personnel and shall be provided for their personal use at their individual discretion.  Fischer Technical Services and Fischer Technical Services Consultants shall not be liable to Client Companies, or to anyone who may claim any right due to any relationship with a Client Company, for any misuse of information or for any acts or omissions in the performance of any services on the part of Fischer Technical Services Consultants or on the part of agents or employees of Fischer Technical Services.  This specifically applies to any commissioning, troubleshooting or repair services.  Client Companies shall agree to hold Fischer Technical Services and Fischer Technical Services Consultants free and harmless from any liability, obligations, costs, claims, judgments, attorneys' fees, and attachments arising from or growing out of any services rendered to the Client Company or in any way connected with the rendering of services.
